[Release Notice] GeoVision Bolsters its Newest GV-Recording Server 2.0.0

The Latest GV-Recording Server can Record 256 Channels of Video Devices, Distribute Up to 600 Video Streams, and is Equipped with a Spate of New Features

September 21, 2020 – As one of the leading providers of mass video surveillance and management solutions, GeoVision dares not to disappoint. While doubling the capabilities of one of its long-time products — GV-Recording Server — from originally recording 128-CH and streaming 300-CH to now recording 256-CH and streaming 600-CH in version 2.0, GeoVision has, at the same time, added on a number of new convenient and fail-safe features, including support for remote access from GV-Eye with QR-code scan, dual-stream recording and more.

Using a QR-code scan from GV-Eye V2.7 or later, security managers and/or personnel can remotely access the GV-Recording Server, and its video streams, via video relay from any Android / iOS mobile devices while on the go or during patrol for a more flexible surveillance routine.

Capable of simultaneously recording from the main- and sub-streams of video devices, GV-Recording Server 2.0 allows authorized individuals to play back certain events, such as tracing criminal activities, and alternate between high- and low-resolution, for a smooth playback even under limited network bandwidths.

In ensuring no on-site recordings are lost, the newest GV-Recording Server is able to synchronize the recordings from the local SD card storages of GV-IP Devices and ONVIF devices with profile G conformant after a temporary disconnection.

GV-Recording Server 2.0 also supports AES-encryption for both incoming and outgoing video streams for enhanced security.

With its capabilities doubled and highlighted with a number of convenient and fail-safe features, GeoVision’s brand-new GV-Recording Server is a mega-surveillance solution transcended to fulfill the needs of varying businesses in today’s day and age.
