A Video Analytics Server Designed for Face Recognition <\/strong>that is Readily Compatible with GV-VMS and GV-ASManager<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h1>\n

April 10, 2020<\/strong> – GeoVision, one of the leading providers of video surveillance and management solutions, has just launched its GV-AI FR<\/em>, the first of GeoVision\u2019s line of A.I. systems to come in recent years.<\/span><\/p>\n

Specifically designed for face recognition, GV-AI FR<\/em> is able to instantly capture faces, and register their facial features along with age and gender data, from up to 8 surveillance cameras in real-time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Commercially, it can assist managers by identifying certain guests, both VIP and unwanted, as soon as they enter the building.<\/span><\/p>\n

In terms of improving sales performance, sales clerks and store owners can analyze the age and gender distribution charts compiled by GV-AI FR<\/em>\u00a0, with every person captured, to adjust their sales strategies accordingly.<\/span><\/p>\n

When key personnel or individuals of a specified group are recognized, GV-AI FR<\/em> can be set to automatically display customized greetings and messages, on its welcome screens, either on-site or via Android TV boxes \/ mobile devices, to elevate its services.<\/span><\/p>\n

In corporate settings, by registering the faces of staff members, GV-AI FR<\/em> is able to utilize face recognition in place of card scans, for automated access and attendance management, with its integration to\u00a0GV-ASManager<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

For high-security facilities, such as a penitentiary, where nonstop surveillance and video recording are critical, combined with\u00a0GV-VMS<\/a>, security personnel can use face search to not only trace suspicious individuals who have been captured by GV-AI FR<\/em> but also search for specific persons with their photos.<\/span><\/p>\n

To further extend and facilitate the functionalities of its face recognition technology, GeoVision stated that the Software Development Kit (SDK) of GV-AI FR<\/em> may be provided upon request, for incorporation with 3rd<\/sup>-party applications.<\/span><\/p>\n
