August 10, 2021 – GeoVision launches a mobile access solution, consisting of a virtual access card GV-Mobile Card, a QR code reader GV-QR1352 and GV-Mobile Access app, to streamline the process of access card management and allow users to use smartphones as an access pass.

With GeoVision’s game-changing mobile access solution, security managers can now react fast to issue, amend or revoke an employee’s access card, all over the air. The smartphones, as containers of virtual access cards, will do the job of physical cards or keys to unlock doors.

To avoid code duplication, mobile credentials are securely stored on smartphones and presented by dynamic QR codes that change every 10 seconds. Additionally, mobile credentials have proved to be more convenient and secure than traditional cards, tags and fobs, given that people always carry phones with them and they are usually protected with a passcode or biometry security.

As part of the GeoVision mobile access solution, the QR code reader GV-QR1352 can work with both mobile and RFID credentials. Its RFID capability can even read two frequency bands (125 kHZ EM and 13.56 MHz Mirfare) at the same time.
