| Advantage of the built-in camera, aside from easy installation, is that it is ensured to capture the face of front view. As seen in following comparison, when camera is not built-in within reader (and normally camera is installed away from the reader shooting from a higher point), it is difficult to get a front view face shot. Face images can be even more accurately captured if face detection mode is enabled. |

| GV-CR420 uses wide angle lens, providing extra space imaging in compare to traditional camera. The advantage of this is that it catches full face images disregard of their heights. It is also possible to include images more than just the card user, for example, tailgaters may also be included in the camera view.

| GV-CR420 enhances security through the special authentication mode - card and face detection mode. The mode grants access only when the card and a face are both presented. This is to ensure face images are correctly captured as intended at entrance, for retrieval as needed later. Face detection mode may be enabled by schedule to increase overall security at times needed. |
